Seo a leanas straitéisí na scoile chun iompar bulaíochta a imscrúdú, chun obair leantach a dhéanamh ina dtaobh agus chun iompar bulaíochta a thaifeadadh mar aon leis na straitéisí idir ghabhála bunaithe a úsáidfidh an scoil chun déileáil le cásanna d’iompar bulaíochta
1. Déanfaidh an múinteoir(í) ábharthach an chéad iniúchadh i gcás líomhaine bulaíochta. Cuirfear béim ar CAD, CÉN ÁIT, CATHAIN, CÉ, CÉN FÁTH a tharla an eachtra. 2. Má léiríonn sé seo gur fíorlíomhain bulaíochta a tharla cuirfear an PríomhOide agus an Leas-PhríomhOide ar an eolas. Déanfar fiosrúchán níos doimhne ansin bunaithe ar na céimeanna seo a leanas: (i) Cuirfear agallamh ar na páistí a bhí páirteach i dtimpeallacht sábháilte tacúil. Má bhíonn easaontas maidir le firící an cháis lorgófar fianaise oibiachtúil m.sh ó chomhdháltaí, baill fóirne &rl. Déanfar na hagallaimh seo chomh príobháideach agus is féidir. (ii) Sa chás go bhfaightear amach gur eachtra bulaíochta a tharla déanfar teagmháil le tuismitheoirí na bpáistí a bhí i gceist agus míneofar dóibh go díreach cad a thárla agus cad a dhéanfar mar gheall air. (iii) Déanfar iarracht a chur ar chumas an pháiste chiontach (na bpáistí) an mí-iompar a thuiscint ó thaobh íospartaigh. (iv) Díreach mar a tharlíonn i gcás mí-iompair tromchúiseacha leanfar Cód Iompair na scoile. (v) Beidh ar an bpáiste chiontach ‘conradh dea-iompar’ a shíniú ina mbeidh gealltanas faoina iompar sa todhchaí. (vi) Déanfar monatóireacht cúramach orthu siúd a bhí páirteach san eachtra agus tabharfar tacaíocht dóibh go ceann pé tréimhse is gá. (vii) Déanfar gach iarracht dea-chaidreamh a athbhunú idir na páirtithe éagsúla chomh luath agus is cuí. * Tabharfaidh an PríomhOide tuairisc gach téarma don Bhord Bainistíochta ag léiriú: (a) Méid na gcásanna bulaíochta daingnithe a fuarthas ón tuairisc deireannach a tugadh don Bhord. Úsáidfear an teimpléad chun iompar bulaíochta a thaifeadadh (féach Aguisín 2 ceangailte leis an bpolasaí seo). (b) Go raibh nó go bhfuil déileáil á dhéanamh le gach cás de réir polasaí frith-bhulaíochta na scoile. Déanfar taifeadach ar na tuarascálacha seo sna miontuairiscí ach ní ainmneofar na daoine a bhí páirteach sna heachtraí |
Déanfaimid ár dtréandhícheall tacú leo siúd a bhíonn páirteach i n-iompar bulaíochta. Tabharfar deiseanna d’íospartaigh bulaíochta bheith páirteach i gníomhaíochtaí chun a gcuid féin-mheas a láidriú agus a gcuid scileanna le déileáil le bulaíocht a fhorbairt. Beidh béim tríd is tríd ar bhraistint sábháilteach agus folláine an pháiste a athbhunú agus é ar scoil. Tabharfar tacaíocht do dhéantóirí na coire chomh maith. Déanfar gach iarrachr cúiseanna a gcuid rannpháirtíochta a fhionnadh agus cuidiú leo tionchar diúltach an iompair ar gach duine a aithint. |
Deimhníonn an Bord Bainistíochta go bhfuil beartais agus cleachtais chuí mhaoirseachta agus
monatóireachta i bhfeidhm chun iompar bulaíochta a chosc agus chun déileáil leis agus chun idirghabháil luath a éascú más féidir.
Deimhníonn an Bord Bainistíochta go ndéanfaidh an scoil, de réir a oibleagáidí faoin reachtaíocht
chomhionannais, gach beart is indéanta go praiticiúil chun daltaí agus baill foirne a chosaint ar

The following types of bullying behaviour are included in the definition of bullying:
Isolated or once-off incidents of intentional negative behaviour, including a once-off offensive or hurtful text message or other private messaging, do not fall within the definition of bullying and should be dealt with, as appropriate, in accordance with the school’s code of behaviour.
However, in the context of this policy, placing a once-off offensive or hurtful public message, image or statement on a social network site or other public forum where that message, image or statement can be viewed and/or repeated by other people will be regarded as bullying behaviour.

If this investigation indicates that bullying may have occurred, the matter will be documented by the school Principal and Deputy Principal at which point a more thorough and intensive investigation will be initiated as follows:- (i) The child/children involved in the bullying behaviour will be interviewed in a safe and supportive environment. Where there is disagreement as to the facts of the situation objective evidence will be sought e.g. classmates, other pupils, staff etc. These interviews will be conducted with a degree of privacy appropriate to the situation. (ii) In cases where it has been determined that bullying has occurred the parents of the parties involved will be contacted to inform them of the matter and explain the actions being taken. (iii) Every effort will be made to get the child engaged in the bullying behaviour to see the situation from the victim’s perspective. (iv) As with any incidence of serious misbehaviour the school’s Code of Discipline will be followed. (v) The child responsible for the bullying behaviour will be required to sign a contract of good behaviour.
